Dead in the Water. πŸ˜’

My laptop finally destabilised its Wndows 10. The most recent update hosed it up. Uninstalling the update didn’t help. Doing a system restore failed to complete. Suffuce to say that I ended up doing a complete resetting of the laptop. Spent all day with this. I really just need a real PC not a laptop, unless a better laptop would suffice, but I doubt it.

Well. I am rightly screwed. I did a complete reset of the laptop. Now all it does is boot to the HP logo screen, then shuts down and reboots again, and again, and again. It won’t even go into safe mode or into automatic repair mode. It is stuck in an endless rebooting loop. I am completely dead in the water. I cannot do all I need to do on my mobile. My important data are safe on my external drives. But all is useless without a computer. I do not have the disposable income necessary to replace the computer.

Today is over. I will sleep. Maybe I will wake up to $1000 in my PayPal account. πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

But I somehow doubt it. I really don’t know how I will be able to continue my work. Goodnight. 😴😑😴😑😴

Welcome to 1938. πŸ˜‘πŸ˜₯😑

I am not an alarmist, nor a fearmonger, nor a doomsayer. I am a realist, a pragmatist, a scientist, a logician. Yet, I can see “the writing on the wall”. I saw it over twenty years ago. Very few believed me. Maybe now more will believe me. Please read the following article and judge for yourself. Thank you.

Definitely Last Work Day of August. πŸ˜Ά

Slow and Stupid are the words for August. My scheduled first work day for next month is Sunday 6 September 2020. We shall see if that schedule holds true. Tomorrow (Tuesday) is an off day. That off day shall last at least up to and including Saturday 5 September 2020. The Grand Bibliography has 2658 sources. The Manuscript is 1387 pages. So, until September, True Believers, Excalibur! 😎

Too Angry To Accomplish Anything Useful Today. πŸ˜£

I am starting to see businesses that are requiring the wearing of masks. According to CDC guidelines, I should not have to wear one. Sprint refused to serve me until they gave me a mask to wear. I. Am. Absolutely. Livid. If I did not need their service, I would have told them to go screw themselves. When asked, they hid behind “corporate policy”. I told them that they were violating my rights and I will be calling corporate about it. I say, boycott all businesses that require their customers to wear masks. 😣πŸ˜
