Finally through the Grand Bibliography. 😳
A total of 2870 sources are included in the Grand Bibliography. There are others that will be folded in over time. Next is finishing the catalogue of my physical books (to make sure none were missed in the Grand Bibliography). After that will be the sorting of the Grand Bibliography into the thirty main topics areas. I still seem to be on course for the June 2024 release date for The Introduction volume. If there are any delays, it would be to push that release date one more year into the future. At present, I do not see that happening. 😁
So, True Believers, until next time, Excalibur! 😎
First Official Work Day of June 2022.
Am finally through that mythology dictionary. Currently on source 2283 out of 2894 total. At present, on schedule for the first volume to be released June 2024. I will certainly know more by year’s end.
Until next month, dear readers, Excalibur! 😎
First Official Work Day of November 2021.
Still immersed in that Mythology Dictionary from two months ago. I may indeed have to add another year to the publishing schedule (Introduction volume being published in June 2024 instead of how it is presently listed on the website as June 2023). We shall see how things go after the first of the year. Until next month, True Believers, Excalibur! 😎
First Official Work Day of October 2021 😳
Have been a bit stalled in the Grand Bibliography. Fleshing out a Mythology Dictionary as part of the Bibliography. Have also been editing the main page at http://www.CircleOfLogres.com
At the 1865th source out of 2901. October will be productive in terms of getting through the remainder of the Grand Bibliography. Until the next update, True Believers, Excalibur! 😎
First Official Work Day of September 2021. 😳
Currently at source 2034 out of 2895. I will know more by year’s end if I need to move the deadline for the release of the Introductory volume. We shall see how things go. So, until next month, True Believers, Excalibur! 😎
First Official Work Day of July 2021. 🤓
Currently on source 1716 out of 2886. Goal is to be completely through the Grand Bibliography by year’s end. If not, the release date of the first volume might be pushed to June 2024 instead of 2023. We shall see how the next few months progress.
With that in mind, look to receive my next update in August. Until then, True Believers, Excalibur! 😎
First Work Day of May 2021. 🤓
On source 1278 of 2844 in the Grand Bibliography. Posting updates once per month on the first official work day of the month. Doing my best to stay on schedule. May have to move the deadline for the project out another year. We shall see what Summer brings. Until next time, True Believers, Excalibur! 😎
This Month has been Tiresome and Tedious. Ending monthly work day schedule early. 😶
Tomorrow (Monday) will most likely be my last official work day of this month. That being said, my latest Arthurian Legends blog article submission will be completed by month’s end. It is my hope that I will resume the next month’s work schedule on Sunday 6 September. I make no guarantees. I will do my best. Only 59 of my remaining sources require incorporation into the Grand Bibliography, which presently stands at 2651 sources. Hoping to “freeze” that bibliography soon. There are still some “sources” that require combination with others under single headings. This is particularly true of both web-based sources and multi-book sets. The Manuscript has 1388 pages. That, too, shall be edited down over the course of the remainder of this year and into the next, while various quotes and citations are sorted. There are a few “Mediæval Texts” of which I have cited, but are yet to be in my possession in the form of complete physical and/or digitally scanned copies (for completeness-sake). I had never dreamed that this project would be so completely overwhelming in and of my life. So, until my next post, my True Believers, Excalibur! 😎
Last Work Day of June. 😃
The Grand Bibliography has 2434 sources. I am confident that I will be able to “freeze” the bibliography by July’s end. We shall see. Once that is accomplished, there is still work to be done on various aspects of sorting, recombining, verifying, and making sure of the quality and availability of the physical sources (both digital and actual copies). That does not include research notes from sources that are no longer available to me (for various reasons, not the least of which is the loss of materials in our house fire back in 2004). 😱
The Manuscript for the Introduction volume is 1359 pages. I am back to 17 December 2017 in my emails. Tomorrow (Saturday) is an off day. It will last through Saturday 4 July. My first work day of July will occur on Sunday 5 July 2020. Until then, True Believers, Excalibur! 😎
