Dead in the Water. ๐Ÿ˜ข

My laptop finally destabilised its Wndows 10. The most recent update hosed it up. Uninstalling the update didn’t help. Doing a system restore failed to complete. Suffuce to say that I ended up doing a complete resetting of the laptop. Spent all day with this. I really just need a real PC not a laptop, unless a better laptop would suffice, but I doubt it.

Well. I am rightly screwed. I did a complete reset of the laptop. Now all it does is boot to the HP logo screen, then shuts down and reboots again, and again, and again. It won’t even go into safe mode or into automatic repair mode. It is stuck in an endless rebooting loop. I am completely dead in the water. I cannot do all I need to do on my mobile. My important data are safe on my external drives. But all is useless without a computer. I do not have the disposable income necessary to replace the computer.

Today is over. I will sleep. Maybe I will wake up to $1000 in my PayPal account. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚

But I somehow doubt it. I really don’t know how I will be able to continue my work. Goodnight. ๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ด

Last Work Day of June. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

The Grand Bibliography has 2434 sources. I am confident that I will be able to “freeze” the bibliography by July’s end. We shall see. Once that is accomplished, there is still work to be done on various aspects of sorting, recombining, verifying, and making sure of the quality and availability of the physical sources (both digital and actual copies). That does not include research notes from sources that are no longer available to me (for various reasons, not the least of which is the loss of materials in our house fire back in 2004). ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

The Manuscript for the Introduction volume is 1359 pages. I am back to 17 December 2017 in my emails. Tomorrow (Saturday) is an off day. It will last through Saturday 4 July. My first work day of July will occur on Sunday 5 July 2020. Until then, True Believers, Excalibur! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Data Issues Resolved. Work Progressing. ๐Ÿ˜

After 17 days, 5 trouble tickets, 20 people, 4 supervisors, and 1 manager; my data problems are finally resolved. Bottom line: MetroPCS sucks. ๐Ÿ˜

Back to 6 January 2018 in my emails. Grand Bibliography has 2367 sources. The Manuscript is 1320 pages. Tomorrow (Monday) is another work day. So, until then, True Believers, Excalibur! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Another Slug-A-Bug Day. ๐Ÿ˜

The Grand Bibilography has 2353 sources. The Manuscript is 1320 pages. Tomorrow (Thursday) is an off day. Until Friday, True Believers, Excalibur! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Ongoing Data Issues, Not Much Accomplished. ๐Ÿ˜

Spent 6 solid hours talking to 9 different people at MetroPCS, including 2 supervisors and 1 manager. Problem is still not solved. All of my data is still being counted as hotspot data. Very frustrating. This has been going on for 11 days. By the 14th day, if it is not fixed, both MetroPCS and T-Mobile will be reported to the Better Business Bureau and the Department of Consumer Affairs. ๐Ÿ˜ถ

The Grand Bibliography has 2348 sources. The Manuscript is 1319 pages. Tomorrow (Monday) is another work day. Until then, True Believers, Excalibur! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Technical Difficulties.ย  ๐Ÿ˜ฃ

Windows 10 is acting up.ย  Should have the problem resolved by tomorrow, I hope.ย  Meanwhile, this work day has consisted of continuing to organise my physical Arthuriana books and making sure that they are indeed part of the Grand Bibliography.ย  Sometimes various lists, notes, and other scribblings do not match.ย  Being OCD really helps in my ongoing efforts to make every aspect consistent. Tomorrow (Thursday) is still an off day. Friday is scheduled to be the last work day of the month. So, until then, True Believers, Excalibur! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Very Late Start! ๐Ÿ˜ฃ๐Ÿ˜

I had one appointment and two errands today. Thanks to “shopping hysteria” or “hysterical shopping”, whichever one wishes to label such idiocy, my start was not as early as I had wished it to be. ๐Ÿ˜ฃ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ถ

The Grand Bibliography sits at 2370 sources. Manuscript has 1304 pages. Tomorrow (Saturday) is an off day. Until Sunday, True Believers, Excalibur! ๐Ÿ˜Ž
