Still stuck in that Mythology Dictionary. Should be done with that soon. Was without a functioning computer for 16 days. New computer is finally configured optimally. I had to move the publishing date for the first book out another year (June 2024). Reality has become too weird. I will update next month. Until then, True Believers, Excalibur! 😎
My laptop finally destabilised its Wndows 10. The most recent update hosed it up. Uninstalling the update didn’t help. Doing a system restore failed to complete. Suffuce to say that I ended up doing a complete resetting of the laptop. Spent all day with this. I really just need a real PC not a laptop, unless a better laptop would suffice, but I doubt it.
Well. I am rightly screwed. I did a complete reset of the laptop. Now all it does is boot to the HP logo screen, then shuts down and reboots again, and again, and again. It won’t even go into safe mode or into automatic repair mode. It is stuck in an endless rebooting loop. I am completely dead in the water. I cannot do all I need to do on my mobile. My important data are safe on my external drives. But all is useless without a computer. I do not have the disposable income necessary to replace the computer.
Today is over. I will sleep. Maybe I will wake up to $1000 in my PayPal account. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
But I somehow doubt it. I really don’t know how I will be able to continue my work. Goodnight. 😴😡😴😡😴
Still immersed in that Mythology Dictionary from two months ago. I may indeed have to add another year to the publishing schedule (Introduction volume being published in June 2024 instead of how it is presently listed on the website as June 2023). We shall see how things go after the first of the year. Until next month, True Believers, Excalibur! 😎
Have been a bit stalled in the Grand Bibliography. Fleshing out a Mythology Dictionary as part of the Bibliography. Have also been editing the main page at http://www.CircleOfLogres.com
At the 1865th source out of 2901. October will be productive in terms of getting through the remainder of the Grand Bibliography. Until the next update, True Believers, Excalibur! 😎
Currently at source 2034 out of 2895. I will know more by year’s end if I need to move the deadline for the release of the Introductory volume. We shall see how things go. So, until next month, True Believers, Excalibur! 😎
Am at source 1828 out of 2874. Hope to be finished with the Grand Bibliography for the Circle of Logres: Encyclopædia Arthuriana by year’s end. We shall see if The Introduction volume will be ready for publication by June 2023. 😁
So, until next month, True Believers, Excalibur! 😎
Currently on source 1716 out of 2886. Goal is to be completely through the Grand Bibliography by year’s end. If not, the release date of the first volume might be pushed to June 2024 instead of 2023. We shall see how the next few months progress.
With that in mind, look to receive my next update in August. Until then, True Believers, Excalibur! 😎
We have all of our authors for Circle of Logres: Encyclopædia Arthuriana. 😁
Now at source 1525 out of 2867 total. Hope that by year’s end the Grand Bibliography will have all of its citations verified. If not, another year will be added to the publishing calendar. We shall see what 2022 brings. So, until next month, True Believers, Excalibur! 😎
It was decided that because the Afterword to The Compendium volume will be not only a capstone to the text itself, it will also be such to the entire Encyclopædia, that three authors were needed to properly encapsulate the content and importance of both The Compendium volume and the whole of the Circle of Logres: Encyclopædia Arthuriana.
Fiona Ingram started her fiction writing career after a family trip with her mom and two young nephews to Egypt for the ‘adventure of a lifetime’ that changed her life. She decided to write a short story for her nephews as a different kind of souvenir of their holiday. The short story turned into a full-length book that turned into an exciting seven-book adventure series. Fiona’s multi-award-winning middle-grade series is sure to get any reluctant young reader to love books. She edits for a top book review company, teaches online novel writing, and is busy writing the next adventure in the series.
Cheryl Carpinello is a retired high school English teacher. After 20+ years of working with students who didn’t like to read, she discovered the topics that inspired those Reluctant Readers to pick up books: Arthurian Legend and stories from the Ancient World. With her Tales & Legends, she inspires Reluctant Young Readers & others to read more and explore the legends of the world.
After teaching French, Latin, and Classical Studies for almost 20 years, Wendy Leighton-Porter’s career took a new direction when she decided to fulfil her ambition of becoming a children’s author. A passion for history inspired her debut writing project – an ambitious 25-part series of Middle-Grade time-travel adventures, Shadows from the Past. Each of the stories is set during periods of history that have always fascinated her, including that of the Dark Ages world of Arthurian legend. Adventure and education always go hand-in-hand in Wendy’s books, which are designed to allow young readers to learn, perhaps without even realising it.
Welcome aboard Fiona, Cheryl, and Wendy!
On source 1278 of 2844 in the Grand Bibliography. Posting updates once per month on the first official work day of the month. Doing my best to stay on schedule. May have to move the deadline for the project out another year. We shall see what Summer brings. Until next time, True Believers, Excalibur! 😎
